Discover Stouffville Blog

National Crayon Day, March 31st, should be a national holiday in honour of the Crayon that has been a constant friend of children since 1903, almost 120 years.

On that day we will be handing out packages of crayons to children visiting the library.  Quantities are limited.  Check out our display books about crayons doing fun things!

Crayon books:

  • The Day the Crayons Came Home
  • Pete the Cat Crayons Rock
  • Love from the Crayons
  • How the Crayons saved Christmas
  • Crayons’ Book of Feelings.
  • Harold’s Treasure Hunt
  • True Story!  The Story of Crayola
  • The Day the Crayons Quite
  • The Day the Crayons Came Home
