Theatre Camp: Romeo & Juliet

If ever there was a story that could be told and retold again and again, it’s this one. Romeo and Juliet, the story of star-crossed lovers and their warring families. Written by William Shakespeare, adapted for children by Lois Burdett, and staged by Motus O. This play will bring all the wonder, fun, thrills, and spills of putting on a classic work that has endured for over 400 years. All children at the camp will be instructed by professional performers from Motus O Dance Theatre. Stage combat, text, and stage craft are all part of the camp building up to the final performance. This year’s staging of Romeo and Juliet will be done through your favourite Taylor Swift songs!
