Youth Open Studio Returns to Latcham Art Centre

Discover Stouffville Blog

Youth Open Studio is a free-for-all art session that encourages the growth of young artists in the community. Every other Thursday evening, creatives aged 12-16 are invited to drop in any time from 4-8 PM to make art, eat snacks, listen to music and engage with their peers. The program is free of charge.

After a long break due to COVID-19 lockdowns, Latcham Art Centre hosted Youth Open Studio on November 25th and December 9th with great enthusiasm and success.

Our students made bookmarks, custom ornaments, handmade stickers, paintings, and some even worked on their art applications. We are excited to host even more sessions in the future with various art mediums such as clay, button making, fabric painting, and more!

Latcham Art Centre ensures that each program follows the COVID-19 protocols of The Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville and is run with physical distancing and limited participant numbers.
