Summer Reading Program – Myths and Legends

Discover Stouffville Blog

The TD Summer Reading Club (TDSRC) is Canada’s biggest, bilingual summer reading program for kids of all ages, interests and abilities. This free Club is offered at more than 2,200 public libraries across Canada, as well as online. The TDSRC celebrates Canadian authors, illustrators and stories, and inspires kids to explore the fun of reading their way. This is key to building a lifelong love of reading.

This year, venture into magical realms where fantastic creatures roam and anything can (and will) happen. Discover the power of stories and storytelling to entertain and illuminate important lessons. Be enchanted by fairy and folk tales, old and new and from far and wide, as you journey through suspenseful twists and turns. Whatever the stories may be, they are bound to inspire you to imagine and even tell your own story.

Program registration begins Saturday, June 18th, both online and in person.  Reporting on books read and reading to our volunteers begins in July during our reporting hours.

  • Mondays 10-12, 2-4
  • Tuesdays 10-12, 2-4
  • Wednesdays 2-4, 6-8
  • Thursdays 10-12, 2-4
  • Saturdays 10-12

Prizes will be awarded weekly.  The program ends August 25th.
