Latcham Art Centre is excited about upcoming exhibitions and programs! Here are a few:

Annual Juried Exhibition
Open: Friday, March 25 – Saturday, April 23, 2022
Reception: Friday, March 25 from 7 – 9 pm
This year’s exhibition features artwork from 30 artists from across Ontario in a variety of media. Join us on March 25th to meet the jurors and see the selection!

Musical Expressions
March 31 from 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm
Explore the relationship between music and art in this creative workshop for tweens! Using paint and synesthesia as creative inspiration, participants will learn about the elements music and visual arts share such as harmony, rhythm, and repetition.

Exploring Watercolour (Ages 55+)
March 31 from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm
In this 10-week beginner program, participants will explore the beautiful media of watercolour, learning about papers, colour mixing, layering, and more, culminating in a finished piece of art! Join professional educator Sarka Buchl Stephenson for this social and educational program!

Imagination Studio Open House (Ages 1 – 4 with caregiver)
April 27 from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm
Get creative with us at our upcoming caregiver-preschooler drop-in program! Connect with program staff, meet the instructor, learn about shapes and colours in a fun art activity, and take a tour of our beautiful studio space.
