Discover Stouffville Blog

Star Wars and Star Trek, Marvel and DC, Disney, and anime, we’re celebrating it all! On Saturday, July 23rd visit the Library and Latcham Art Centre as we host our first ever FanFest.  Geek out with us as we celebrate all our fandoms. FanFest will feature activities happening all day long from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM with trivia, gaming, crafts and more!

Have a geeky costume? Wear it with pride! This is a truly all ages event with something special for everyone. Cosplay is heavily encouraged for this event with lots of great photo opportunities to showcase your designs.

We will start the day with extraordinary Superhero Storytimes at 10:15 AM and 11:30 AM. Dress up as your favourite character or superhero for this special themed Storytime! We will have gaming tournaments throughout the day and interactive trivia competitions in the afternoon to test your nerd knowledge.

Latcham Art Centre will present collaborative art activities, button making and a special FanFest Latcham Saturday

Visit www.wsplibrary.ca/fanfest for more details about programs happening that day and any registration information required for certain programs happening that day.

Free Admission to Fanfest! Some activities may require registration.
