Latcham Art Centre is excited about their upcoming fall programs! Some of them are listed below:
Imagination Studio (Ages 1 – 4 with Caregiver)
Wednesdays, September 21 – October 26 (6 sessions) from 9:30 AM – 10:30 AM
In this preschool program, young minds will explore different materials, shapes, and colours with their caregivers. Relevant stories, artists, and themes will provide interest and fun in this creative and social program.
Youth Open Studio (Ages 12 – 16)
Continues September 29 from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Youth Open Studio provides youth an opportunity to join their peers, create a piece of art, or just come and work on something of their own. Each session features relevant projects that challenge participants to use materials they may not have used before or use them in a different way.
Fall Vase Painting Workshop (Ages 18+)
Wednesday, October 5 from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
This workshop is the perfect program for adults who are interested in D.I.Y. home decor and/or gift giving. Join professional artist educator Marisa Gallo for this fun and social night!
Acrylic Painting for Beginners (Ages 18+)
Wednesdays, October 12 – November 30 (8 sessions) from 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM
In this 8-week beginner program, participants will explore the wonderful media of acrylic, learning colour theory, mixing, textures, and more, culminating in a finished piece of art! These sessions are perfect for someone who has never done acrylic painting before and wants to learn something new.
