Join Jesse Wente – writer, broadcaster, speaker, and arts leader – as he discusses his national bestseller, “Unreconciled: Family, Truth, and Indigenous Resistance.” Wente’s debut book was picked as one of 2021’s best books by Chapters-Indigo, Apple Books, and The Globe and Mail.
Using stories from his life and his family’s history, Wente takes stock of the current state of truth and reconciliation in Canada, the challenges that exist to achieving both truth and reconciliation, and what can be done to further the process.
This talk will be followed by a live Q&A and book signing. Blue Heron Books will be onsite selling copies of “Unreconciled: Family, Truth, and Indigenous Resistance” before and following the author talk!
