Learning Lab-Tourism Now Central Counties Discover Stouffville

Tourism Now! presented by Central Counties Tourism

October 23, 2025 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am

This workshop is presented by Central Counties Tourism and the Town of Stouffville.

Course Overview

Tourism is big business in Canada, one of the few truly national industries that generates economic activity in every region, province, territory, town, and community. Although most tourism businesses are small to medium-sized enterprises, the industry provides more jobs than agriculture, forestry, fishing, mining, quarrying, oil, and gas combined.

In this interactive course, you’ll learn how Central Counties Tourism and its partners can help you build a stronger, more resilient business by tapping into tourism opportunities and programs available in your region.

BONUS: Receive a Certificate of Completion from Central Counties Tourism

What You’ll Learn

By the end of the session, you’ll have the knowledge and confidence to:

  • Describe the Ontario tourism landscape and its economic impact
  • Explain the role of Central Counties Tourism in supporting local businesses
  • Summarize the services, programs, and support available to help you grow

Whether you’re a business owner, entrepreneur, or community stakeholder, this course will help you understand how tourism can be a powerful driver of growth and visibility for your business.
