Description
The Stouffville Chamber of Commerce Leaders Luncheon will take place on June 14th at Meadowbrook Golf Club with guest speaker Wendy Moir who is the first CEO and Registrar of the Home Construction Regulatory Authority, which launched in 2021 as Ontario’s newest regulatory body. Responsible for licensing new home builders and vendors, Wendy is charting a new course in a booming industry – enforcing higher professional and ethical standards, and providing new home buyers with enhanced resources to support consumer protection.
At this event Wendy will be speaking about consumer protection, the resources available to new home buyers, and also what the HCRA is doing to support enhanced professionalism and builder education.
