Harrison’s Hope launches First Annual FASD Conference and Family Fun Day (Stouffville, ON)

Are the struggles of being a caregiver to your family members becoming overwhelming, exhausting and frustrating? Do you wish that you had more calm, peace & clarity in your family life, at school and in the community? Are you an individual or family living with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD)? Are you looking for a support network and community to help you manage?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, you are invited to join Harrison’s Hope on Saturday, October 5, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. for its first annual FASD Conference and Family Fun Day.

Bring your partner and children to this highly anticipated event at Stouffville Sportsplex, 45 Innovator Ave, in Stouffville, ON. Admission is free of charge.

The Harrison’s Hope FASD Conference and Family Fun Day is dedicated to raising awareness and providing support to families affected by Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD). The conference will provide attendees with networking opportunities and feature a range of educational workshops covering the following topics:

⦁ Overcoming Crisis and How to Have Better Days at Home

⦁ Discover New Paths to Peace & Calm in the Chaos – Decrease the Stress at

Home, School and in the Community

⦁ FASD 101 Training – What you need to know about this disorder

The FASD Conference will empower parents and caregivers with valuable information and resources.

Childminding services will be provided by Neurodiverse and FASD Informed Respite Staff for children aged 3 to 16, while parents and caregivers participate in the conference. Come prepared with your questions and learn how to find family balance again and learn more about FASD.
