Activism & Advocacy Club

For teens ages 13-19
Discuss issues that are important to you and develop skills to make change in your communities. The Activism and Advocacy Club will also help advise and lead volunteer initiatives for other teens. This month, we’ll be discussing body image (theme selected by the Club). We’ll discuss self-esteem, the damaging effects of fatphobia and body shaming. Then, we’ll dive into practical tips and exercises to help you develop body acceptance and build body-safe spaces.
Earn 1 volunteer hour for participating! The club is currently held virtually on Zoom.
